WUNDER is a dynamic company with strong ties to tradition; its origins date back to the end of the Second World War, when the owner started the production and resale of household items, including scales.
In 1987 the previous property ceded the company to Cassera family, which after a few years of study and market analysis, created a young, enterprising company proposing the Wunder brand with new products and a renewed image.
With the advent of electronic weighing in the 1980s, WUNDER concentrates its energies on the distribution of the Japanese Tanita line and on the development of electronic load cell scales.
The experience gained over the years, pushed Wunder in 1995 to expand its organizational structure by further investing in research and development activities to offer the highest precision in international standards with flexible, innovative and reliable products.
Wunder focuses and develops a medical line combined with the introduction of highly sophisticated body analysis technologies, called BIA.
It is within the scope of this ten-year renewal that Wunder trains and prepares adequate personnel to deal with the sale and above all able to provide an all-round assistance service, an ideal prerequisite for efficient post-sales support.
In the 2000s Wunder developed a line for light weighing and simple to use, ideal for restaurants and ice cream parlors but which is also widely used in the industrial sector. It is in these years that it reproposes the line for the professional home as a high quality fashion range, a true expression of the Made in Italy recognized throughout the world.
In 2007 Wunder opened, with other partners in the balance sector, the NEWTONLAB metrological laboratory, specialized in periodic verification of measuring instruments, masses and laboratory tests.
In 2008 Wunder developed the first MADE IN ITALY electronic chair scale, successfully including it in the EEC and non-EEC markets.
Between 2010 and 2013, in collaboration with designers and electronics partners, he developed his universal WU 150 medical indicator for medical scales.
In collaboration with other manufacturers in the hospital furniture sector Wunder inserts the new WU150 Medical Indicator in bed weighing applications for bariatric and dialysis uses.
